Try Something New
The start of the new year is always an exciting time. Whether you are looking to foster new skills or find new hobbies, the library can help.
Visit the Studio for a selection of introductory ready-to-make projects that you can drop in and try anytime. You can also browse our skill-building online tutorials, including Gale Courses.

Maybe your goals are to read more books or watch more acclaimed movies and TV shows. Our Staff Picks lists highlight books, movies, TV shows, and albums that we've loved. Try them as an excellent starting point.

Accessibility at the Library
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2025. Learn how the library provides resources and services to create a welcoming place for people of all abilities. On Sunday, January 19, families and individuals with sensory sensitivities or disabilities are invited to explore the Kids Room and Teen Room before the library opens. Advance sign up is required to enjoy games, hands-on activities, and Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy dogs during the hour.
